How often do you sit in stillness, focusing on your breath and allowing it to ground you?

When we feel overwhelmed or anxious, our breath can feel out of control. It is important to have breathing techniques to incorporate into our routines to maintain peace within. Here’s one that helps me in times of stress:

4-7-8 Breathing Technique:

Inhale through your nose for a count of four.

Hold your breath for a count of seven.

Exhale completely through your mouth for a count of eight.

Repeat as many times as you need.
